A NOTE FROM THE BOARD CHAIR
Hello and Happy New Year, fellow Chamber Members! I am honored to be Board Chair for 2025, and I am writing to you today full of excitement and optimism. Kicking off 2025 will be GREAT for our Wayzata West Metro Chamber. Here are a few reasons why:
-
We have a new name and logo! The Wayzata West Metro Chamber reflects our growing influence and involvement in the West Metro. The cities of Plymouth and Minnetonka joined the Chamber, and we look forward to working with the new leadership in Wayzata. We also have a new website and Member Hub. Have you logged in yet? Click here to check it out!
- The 2025 Leadership Luncheon Series starts Thursday, January 16 with Hennepin County Sheriff Dawanna Witt. Sheriff Witt will share an overview of the Sheriff’s Office and give us her insights on the responsibilities and services provided throughout Hennepin County. Public safety has always been a keen interest of business and community leaders. Hear about her vision and mission for the Sheriff’s Office and the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Click here to register. Looking to purchase a Leadership Luncheon Pass? Get five luncheons for the price of four! Click here to learn more.
- It’s COLD and getting colder! While this is not great for walking the dog, it is fantastic news for the 2025 Chilly Open. The theme is BORN IN ’84 so pull out your neon snowsuit, get those bangs as big as you can, and roll your acid-washed jeans. Get ready for the most RAD Chilly ever! Buy your tickets here and reach out to Brooke Beyer at brooke@wayzatawestmetrochamber.com if you’re interested in sponsoring a Chilly Open Hole!
- Lastly, we have the best staff in the business and stellar leadership. Becky Pierson, Brooke Beyer, Judy Johnson, and Anna Skemp are excellent at what they do and are committed to the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Chamber. Do you know someone who may be interested in joining the Chamber and engaging in all of our programs and events? Encourage them to reach out today by contacting Judy Johnson at judy@wayzatawestmetrochamber.
