Hello Chamber Friends,

This month’s 511 arrives on the heels of some big Chamber news — our President and Executive Director, Becky Pierson, announced her upcoming retirement last week.

Over the past 13 years, Becky’s leadership has been remarkable for both the Chamber and our community. She built an incredible team dedicated to connecting, promoting, and supporting our business members, while nurturing the beloved event traditions that bring people and businesses together. During her tenure, the Chamber expanded member programming, strengthened relationships with local municipalities, and deepened its overall impact across the Wayzata West Metro area.

A lifelong member of this community, Becky has poured her energy, creativity, and heart into everything she does — far beyond her official role. It has been a joy working alongside her in my various Chamber roles over the past decade, and I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to watch and learn from her. You will be deeply missed, Becky. Congratulations — and thank you, Boss!

Lastly, as we approach Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 11, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have served our country with courage, dedication, and honor.

• New Member Orientation on Thursday, November 20, from 3 – 4:30 pm at Rock Elm Tavern Plymouth. Join Chamber staff and member leaders to learn more about ways to engage in programs, events, and festivals throughout the year.
