On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to share an important leadership update for the Wayzata West Metro Chamber.
Following a thoughtful and thorough selection process, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Judy Johnson, the Chamber’s Membership Services Director, has been named the next President.
The Board is confident we have chosen the right leader to guide our Chamber into the future. Judy’s proven experience, strategic vision, and collaborative leadership will strengthen our team, support our members, and amplify the voice of our business community. We are thrilled to welcome her to this role.
We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to outgoing President Becky Pierson for her extraordinary leadership and 13 years of dedicated service.
“It has been an honor to serve this Chamber and work alongside such dedicated members and partners,” said Becky Pierson. “I am incredibly grateful for the relationships built over the years, working alongside an amazing team supporting our members, and for the opportunity to work with Judy during this transition. I know the Chamber is in excellent hands as it moves into its next chapter.”
Incoming President Judy Johnson shared her enthusiasm for the opportunity ahead. “I am truly honored to step into this role and lead the Wayzata West Metro Chamber into its next chapter,” said Judy Johnson. “I look forward to working closely with our members, Board, team, and community partners to build on the Chamber’s past successes and strong foundation, and to create new opportunities for growth, connection, and impact.”
The Chamber will be evaluating next steps for filling Judy’s former role, with more information coming soon. Becky will remain Chamber President until mid-March, and we will keep members informed on her final day.
