On Saturday, February 7, more than 2,000 golfers from around the world take to the ice of Lake Minnetonka dressed in themed costumes, putting tennis balls with golf clubs and hockey sticks across four creative 9-hole course. The 2026 theme is Live from Wayzata… It’s the Chilly Open! (inspired by Saturday Night Live). Participants are encouraged to assemble their squad—whether a classic foursome or a team of 20+ golfers—and embrace the spirit of live entertainment on ice. From outrageous outfits to nonstop laughs, there’s nothing quite like teeing off on a frozen lake and turning Wayzata Bay into your own SNL stage. Tee times are available at 10 am, 12 pm (Amateur sold out), and 2 pm. Limited tickets are available and offered in two ticket types: Amateur ($60) and Pro ($115). Enjoy a Chili Cook-Off, Sampling, and Live Music
Participants can warm up in the heated 19th Hole Tent for live music by PowerTap, along with the highly anticipated Chili Cookoff Contest, featuring award-winning chili from more than 10 local restaurants. Golfers can enjoy chili sampling from 11:00 AM–2:30 PM and vote for their favorite! The cookoff will be judged by some of the Twin Cities’ top foodies and chefs. Click here to learn more.

Come SNOWGA with YogaSix Minnetonka on Saturday, February 7th at 9 am! Anyone can do Hot Yoga, but only true Minnesotans can say they have done SNOWGA (you guessed it, snow yoga). Warm up from the inside out with SNOWGA—a one-of-a-kind outdoor yoga experience that’s pure Minnesota magic! Breathe in the crisp winter air and awaken your senses with a 45-minute energizing yoga class. Bring your own yoga mat, bundle up in your coziest winter gear, and start your Chilly Open day feeling balanced, strong, and ready for fun! Plus, enjoy some LMNT Hot Chocolate after the class.
Final Swing at 6Smith
The celebration continues in downtown Wayzata with after-parties at local restaurants and bars, including The Final Swing Rooftop Party at 6Smith from 1-5pm. Stick around for a DJ, dancing & drinks! This is a 21 & up event, first come first served, no cover charge with limited capacity.
