Happy February, fellow Chamber members! It may be cold outside, but the action is heating up at the Wayzata West Metro Chamber (yep, I went there. Not sorry!).

February is a great month to get involved with the Chamber, starting with the 40th Annual Wayzata Chilly Open, happening February 7 & 8! There are so many ways to participate. Volunteer to help make the event happen. There are a few fun (and super important!) roles to fill in the 19th Hole Tent! Attend the Friday Night Pre Par-Tee and rock out with Private Oates. Golf on Saturday (tickets available!), and test your ice-putting skills against the best in the world (or have a couple beers with your peeps– you do you).

February also kicks off with some fantastic returning member events! Take a look below:

  • EmpowerHER Women’s Network Luncheon on Tuesday, February 11 from 11:30 am – 1 pm at Atria Corporate Center. This month’s focus is on The Strength of Your Network. How do you want to “show up” and what strengths to you bring to your network? Join this great group of women leaders! Register here.
  • Leadership Luncheon – Savoring the Future: A Taste of Wayzata’s Culinary Scene on Thursday, February 13 from 11:30 am – 1 pm at the Wayzata Country Club. Discover the creative minds behind Wayzata’s most talked-about dining destinations. Hear firsthand from local restaurateurs about their innovative approaches, unique concepts, and trends making Wayzata a must-visit food hub. Register here.
  • Pickle X Welcome Visit & Ribbon Cutting Celebration on Tuesday, February 18 from 4 – 5 pm in Plymouth. Come meet the ownership team to learn more about the first indoor pickleball experience in Plymouth and how to get involved. See details here.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and we know how to celebrate in the west metro! Grab flowers or gifts from a local boutique, enjoy an elevated dinner in Wayzata, savor tacos, pizza, and beer in Plymouth, and finish with delicious desserts in Minnetonka. Whatever your Valentine’s looks like, spend it with loved ones while supporting our amazing Chamber members.

Looking forward to seeing you out and about,

Adam

Congratulations to Stacy Kupsky, Vice President and a Wealth Advisor at Wayzata Bay Private Wealth Management, on her new position as the 2025 President of National Association of Women Business Owners.

We send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Jim Davis, former Plymouth City Council Member, who passed away on January 4. Davis had served as the Ward 3 Council Member since 2017 until he resigned in February last year due to health challenges.

Congratulations to Strength in Motions on their ribbon cutting celebration! We’re so excited to see the amazing impact Brittany and Keri are making in the lives of kiddos and families.
