What inspired you to start Oven Fresh Cookies?
My daughter’s desire to sell the business and me wanting to do something with my son.
What does a typical day at Oven Fresh Cookies look like?
It looks like two grown men trying to catch 15 feral cats.
What’s the story behind your signature cookies? Any fan favorites?
The original oatmeal chocolate chip cookies from 20 years ago, is considered the signature cookie that has transformed to the Homestyle Chocolate Chip Cookie! Tried and true, chocolate chip is the fan favorite.
How do you ensure the cookies are always delivered fresh and warm?
(I could tell you but then I would have to kill you…) actually, we use proprietary boxes specially designed by Tank Goodness to retain heat, we also use a high-quality insulated carrying bag that is jam-packed with special heat packs.
What’s the most rewarding part of delivering cookies to people’s doorsteps?
The look on their face when they get them! These are almost always a gift and unexpected, that is what makes the job so much fun.
What’s a memorable experience you’ve had while running Oven Fresh Cookies?
My son and my first attempt at mixing a 350 dozen batch of cookie dough.
Are there any new flavors on the horizon?
We are contemplating bringing back the original oatmeal chocolate chip that Tank Goodness was built on! And adding in a gluten-free option.
